City House

It is worth the visit! Great ambiance, pleasant staff, comfortable and roomy. We arrived at 5:15 pm on a Monday without a reservation. We were seated at the pizza bar which gave us a view of the kitchen and the staff, the restaurant was full by the time we left at 6:45. It is worth the wait , but if you can call ahead and get a reservation. We were served quickly and Mia, our server, had great suggestions both on the menu and off. The Lamb chops were flavorful, tender, juicy bites with a kick. The bread gnocchi was inspired and the belly pizza and egg- crisp crust, yummy cheese, better than expected. If you are in the Germantown area stop here, it is an experience.

Heard great things so we checked it out. Got 2 appetizers Sour Corn Cake and Zephyr Squash plus the Corn Onion and Belly Ham pizzas. All the dishes were excellent. Probably could have gone with one pizza though.

We had a great dinner sitting right up in front of the open kitchen. The pizza was delicious and had a great chew. Loved the pasta and the new sausage dish was excellent too. Service was excellent and quick. I'll come back

Our family had a double birthday dinner at City House recently and had a great experience! We love to our server, Emily, who took care of us through the menu. The appetizers were delicious, we got the squash blossom and the shishito peppers. The pizzas were all amazing, we got three out of the five featured. Highly recommend the one drizzled with honey. And get arugula on all of your pizzas! The cocktails were very good too. We will definitely be back!

One of the best meals I've had in a while. Server recs were great, we did exactly what she told us and it paid off! Pizza with greens and breadcrumbs was so unique and the linguine was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back!

One of my new go-to restaurants in Germantown. One of the best spots in Middle Tennessee. Even on my second visit the staff all remembered me and treated me like royalty. The staff are truly some of the best ever. Management is very hands …

Great dinner, was seated at the bar so loved watching all of the cooks create their dishes. Had the trout conserva appetizer (one of the best things I’ve eaten in Nashville) and their cheese pizza (simple, delicious). Would recommend!

Absolutely wonderful, fresh, seasonal food. Pizzas are worth all of the hype, and the optional egg on top is to die for. Downstairs and patio seating options are nice (especially because the patio is screened in, which means fewer bugs), but the upstairs seating is nice for a quieter, laid back meal. Excellent service and cocktails as well

What can I say. If you are from or visiting Nashville and have never been to City House, you must. Stop reading reviews and just go. Make sure you go early or get a reservation. This place is always busy and parking can be tight. I recommend any of their Pizzas. The Catfish is also excellent. If you can sit at the bar try to do that as you can watch the awesome chefs prepare the food. If you like this quick overview, please give a thumbs up.

Always going to be on my list when I visit Nashville, for the great pizza, kind service and understated and classy ambiance.
